SALT
The salt used in these candles is made by collecting seawater during high tide on the day of the full moon in Futamiura, Ise City. This special salt is also dedicated to the Ise Jingu Shrine, where it is believed that the ebb and flow of the tides reflect the human cycle of life and death. Therefore, the salt is considered to be a purifying agent and when used in a candle, it becomes a wish for purification and vitality.
