Copper (glaze) has a slightly rough texture, a sparkling expression like a mineral, and a simple but detailed form. Copper has a unique presence. 

“In fact, the beginning was a failure. During the trial production of glaze using copper, which is said to be rich in change and difficult to control, the vessel could not be fired. But after much experimentation, this beautiful fluctuation of blue and purple happened in the kiln. There is a secret story about the birth of ceramic art that makes dejection a pleasure.”
